Master’s Student in Sociology – Crime, Difference and Inequality at the University of Minho. Her research examines the use of facial recognition technologies in criminal investigation, focusing on how their application is legitimized, the uncertainties it raises, and the narratives that aim to turn those uncertainties into consensus. Through her Master’s dissertation, she contributes to fAIces by critically analyzing these technologies as social objects shaped by discourses of trust, efficiency, and inevitability.
