The events organized with Helena Machado in Brazil are a collaboration between UNICAMP and the University of São Paulo (USP), with support from the Graduate Program in Social Sciences at UNICAMP, the GAPS: Anthropology of Policing and Security Group (CNPQ-IFCH), and the INCT “Authoritarianism and Democracy” (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development – CNPq). Helena Machado will be in Brazil from May 11 to May 14, 2026, where participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with her.
