The fAIces project has opened a position for a Researcher at the Assistant Level.
The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) intends to recruit a Researcher equivalent at Assistant level for the project “fAIces – Facial recognition technologies: ethical-political assemblages and alternative futures”, funded by European Research Council (ERC).
The tasks to be performed are part of the subprojects dedicated to NGOs and communities vulnerable to discrimination by facial recognition technologies.
The researcher will be responsible for mapping and conducting interviews with NGO representatives, conducting focus groups, producing and disseminating scientific texts, as well as cross-cutting support in bibliographic research, updating the website and organizing project events.
