Auxiliary Researcher at CIES-Iscte – Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology, University Institute of Lisbon. With a PhD in Contemporary Communication and Culture, his research focuses on the intersections between digital technologies and racialities. As part of the project fAIces, he investigates how histories of racial discrimination intersect with the experiences of Black communities affected by surveillance. His work explores how communities that have been historically and systematically surveilled create processes of empowerment and resistance in response to these technologies.
