Auxiliary Researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS), University of Minho. Her research focuses on technological surveillance of criminalized populations across different stages of the criminal justice system. Within the fAIces project, she contributes to explore how facial recognition technologies are embedded in contexts such as security and crime governance, with particular attention to the role of scientists and technology companies in shaping controversies surrounding justice and surveillance.
